This is our STANZ 50 class rod. Capt Nick Stanczyk uses it for deep drop bottom fishing and stand up swordfishing. You can also use it for trolling. The blade (top section of rod) is 57” tip to Ferrule. It’s a custom eglass blank with a sensitive tip, ring guides and Winthrop roller top. You can fish any number 2 butt on it. It’s designed to fish 4-8 lbs of lead. We recommend 50-65 lb braid on it. If using mono we recommend 50 lb. The rod is perfect for queen snapper, Tilefish, snowy Grouper, barrelfish, and swordfish. The rod is wrapped with silver trim and has our STANZ fishing swordfish logo on it.
